This is the brand new website for STIFLE: Band of Brothers based out of Foley, MN.
STIFLE is:
Axle: guitar/lead vocals
Chief: bass guitar/vocals
Shark: keys/vocals
Pooch: drums/vocals
It's a combination of Godsmack, Disturbed, and Hoobastank. It's definitely metal/rock and or alternative and sometimes a little country too. It's got a good beat and rocking vocals. It’s good stuff to listen to after work and you need to get things off your mind.
We play music from the 1950s to the present--If we played 10 songs you would know all 10 and dance to all of them! Modern Rock, Classic Rock, Modern Country, Classic Country, Our Own Original Music too!
Alex the guitar player started playing guitar when sixteen self taught. Jay started playing drums when he was eight. Mike picked up the bass at twenty nine. And Mark could play the keys at eight also. The band started like most bands, a couple of family/friends in a garage putting some notes together to make music. We had practiced for several years before going live. We have over 350 plus covers we know how to play. Once you get started it’s hard to stop. We started out on home turf. We are all from Foley and hit up the Legion in town. From there, we made a demo CD, got a sound system, a sound technician, and play about 1 to 2 times a month in the central Minnesota area. We strive for perfection with every show. We love to get the crowd moving. Once we got them hooked, its no holds bar. Right now we are trying out new venues and creating more new original songs to make a complete CD.
